Harley Thomas is a commercial and transformation executive with more than 25 years of experience helping B2B, B2C, B2B2C, DTC, dealer, and eCommerce companies grow profitably. As Founder of GTM Team, he partners with founders and leadership teams to strengthen go-to-market execution, improve operating discipline, and drive measurable EBITDA results.

His background spans senior leadership roles within both recognizable consumer and industrial brands and founder-led and private equity-backed organizations. Harley has operated in environments ranging from early-stage growth companies to global enterprises, with experience at Jockey International, Generac Power Systems, Master Lock Company (Fortune Brands Innovations), and InSinkErator (Emerson Electric).

Harley has led sales, marketing, digital, and customer experience functions with responsibility for revenue growth, pricing, channel strategy, new product launches, and post-acquisition integration. His work focuses on translating enterprise-grade thinking into practical execution for lean teams—prioritizing what moves EBITDA while avoiding unnecessary complexity.

Our Story

He brings hands-on GTM experience across engineered products, appliances, consumer goods, outdoor and sporting goods, and specialty categories, working with national retailers, digital platforms, and independent specialty dealers. His cross-industry perspective enables him to recognize commercial patterns quickly while accounting for the nuances that make each business unique. Harley applies proven GTM frameworks as a foundation, then builds right-sized playbooks aligned to a company’s growth stage, ownership model, and resource reality.

In recent years, Harley has incorporated AI into his work where it creates clear business value. His focus is on practical applications that support pricing discipline, reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, and remove operational friction—without compromising data privacy or creating initiatives that stall at pilot. His current AI work includes a functioning pricing prototype designed to reduce errors, shorten cycle times, and protect margin across stakeholders.

Known for commercial clarity, people-first leadership, and the ability to simplify complex topics, Harley has spoken at industry events and facilitated executive discussions on growth strategy and go-to-market execution. He is based in Milwaukee and works broadly across the Midwest.
